SHORT ORDER in the cafeteria today is: CLOSED….TODAY, THURSDAY AND TOMORROW, FRIDAY we will be having PIZZA SALES in the atrium. If you bring your own lunch, please remember to bring your own fork and spoon, if you need them.

WATERLOO MATH CONTESTS- If you are interested in writing this contest, you must sign up with Mrs. Jakobsen in Room D211 by the end of this week (March 13^th).

CLUBS:

THE ECO CLUB– meets every Thursday, at lunch in room D107!
BOARD GAMES-Board games and chess in the library today at lunch. Hope to see you there!
CULTURAL HERITAGE SOCIETY– meets today, Thursday afterschool in room D104.
STUDENT COUNCIL– Hey Dover Bay tomorrow we are celebrating Pi Day in the atrium, so come join us at lunch for the pie eating contest as well as a pi math trivia competition. We have some amazing prizes for everyone so come on down to the atrium on Friday at lunch.

SPORTS:

JUNIOR GIRLS’ SOCCER- any Girls in grades 8, 9 and 10 who are interested in playing soccer this year, there will be a practice TODAY, Thursday Mar 12^th, at 3:15pm at McGirr fields.
TRACK AND FIELD- Would the following students please check in with Ms. Lebans (room D209) at lunch today. Erika Fay, James Francis, Avery Thomson, Katie Hildebrant, Nathan Maley, David McNab, Ella Ostrikoff, Tynan Palfry, Jaidy Vanduist, Colton Welgan and Keltie Willis.

SHORT ORDER in the cafeteria today is: Crispy Salmon Burger for $4.75, with Fries $6.50.

ALSO, the cafeteria is closed TOMORROW, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. There will be PIZZA SALES in the atrium. If you bring your own lunch, please remember to bring your own fork and spoon, if you need them.

TEXTILES FIELD TRIP-Current and past textiles students. The KPU Fashion Show field trip will be happening on April 16. If you are interested in attending this field trip, please meet Ms. Williams today at lunch in Portable 10 (Textiles classroom).

BIG CONGRATULATIONS to MRS. COLEMAN’S class for winning the LOONIES FOR LEARNING CONTEST brought to you by ME TO WE. Mrs. Coleman’s class did an outstanding job raising funds Children’s Education in Uganda. Thank you to all the students who donated to this worthy cause.

WATERLOO MATH CONTESTS-Attention grade 12’s (and ambitious grade 11’s), Waterloo’s Euclid contest is coming up in early April. If you are interested in writing this contest, you must sign up with Mrs. Jakobsen in Room D211 by the end of this week (March 13^th). Anyone interested in attending the University of Waterloo, should write this contest.

Also– Attention to those students that wrote the grade 9-11 Waterloo contests a few weeks ago. The results are in! If you would like to know how you did, please see Mrs. Jakobsen in Room D211.

QUEBEC TRIP 2021-Important 2nd Meeting for Students Interested in Quebec Trip next year*

Want to improve your French and experience French Canadian culture? We have an exciting opportunity to travel to Quebec, next February 2021 with Ms. Ryan and Ms. Billard. If interested, please attend our second important meeting TODAY at lunch, March 11 in room E211!

MATH CONTEST CLUB-The math contest club is meets today at lunch. If you like solving fun puzzles and challenging yourself, come and check it out. We will meet in Room D211.
WEIGHT ROOM- IS CLOSED TODAY.
ME TO WE – has a meeting today at lunch in room E212!
PING PONG CLUB – is every Wednesday after school from 3:20pm – 4:20pm, in the atrium. Every Wednesday Everyone welcome!
BADMINTON- Badminton is happening after school today for 2 hours! Come out to the gym for fun games and a great workout!
