John Barsby’s first spirit week starts on Monday, September 24 and ends with Orange Shirt Day! Enjoy Monday to Thursday showcasing your awesome Barsby spirit. Picture opportunities will happen all week and chances to get your crazy wild side in this year’s yearbook! Dress every day or dress up for one day that suits your personality! Get involved and catch the wave!

On Friday we remember that “Every Child Matters” and orange shirts are encouraged to be worn in remembrance for the atrocities of  the residential schools. Shirts will/may be available as well for purchase, but if not, wear whatever orange you may have.

The official Aboriginal Day is September 30th, so continue to wear that orange on Saturday! Check out this Chek News video here for more information!
