Reminders

Service Hours:

The deadline for submitting service hours for this school year is Wednesday, May 31st.  Any service hours after that will need to be submitted next year.  Please use the google form for submitting your hours and get them in by the 31st.

Please note, this is only for hours of service to Dover Bay, not volunteer hours.  Please see Ms. James in D213 if you have any questions.

Valedictorian

Each year, members of the Dover Bay graduating class nominate and select a student to speak on their behalf at Graduation. The student Valedictorian serves as a representative of the graduating class by presenting a speech to family members, staff and fellow students. To be a Valedictorian is a tremendous honor.  For specific criteria, see Google classroom or the grad newsletter that will be going out today.

The Valedictorian nomination process begins today, May 15th and closes on May 23rd. Students need to be nominated by a fellow student and teaching staff member. Nominees will be asked to write and present a 2–3-minute speech as part of their nomination.
