Attention Dover Bay Staff and Students.  Dover Bay prides itself on being a Kind, Caring and Compassionate School.  We have recently experienced some concerns with our Pride Week decorations being disrespected.  Block A Teachers, please take note of the email that was sent out to all staff this morning.  Could you please have a conversation with your classes immediately following these announcements.  We want everyone to feel safe and respected at Dover Bay and the actions of a few are diminishing this feeling of respect for many.  Thanks to our staff and students for their anticipated understanding of this important message.

The Rainbow Alliance is having a bake sale as well today so come down and get your pizza and dessert at the same time and support two awesome causes.

Reminders

As we celebrate LGBTQ2S+ Pride, students can enter to win prizes by guessing how many skittles are in the jar (that will be at the office window). It’s as easy as scanning a QR code. Closest guess wins! The prize includes: 2 tokens for Burnt Honey Ice Cream, all the skittles in the jar, and some rainbow candy. Please make sure you’re logged into your Learn68 account – ONE guess per student. Winner will be announced Friday.

Tomorrow is Rainbow Day – wear your rainbow/show your colours & support.  Also, there is a Pride Party for Rainbow Alliance.

Grad Tickets

If you haven’t already done so, please make sure you pick up your Grad Tickets as soon as possible.  Grade 12 graduating students may come to the atrium before school, during lunch or after school to pick up three tickets each.  At that time you can also be put on a list to request extra tickets (if required).  Please note these extra tickets are Not Guaranteed.

Final Reminder – Attention Students: Please note that our bell schedule has not changed for the remainder of the week.  There was an error in our App that has now been fixed.
